Mother’s Making a Change – A Women’s Treatment & Recovery Services (WTRS) residential program that offers hope, love, and assistance for women in recovery by removing substance use as a barrier to employment and living in the community. Services support women in achieving abstinence, maintaining recovery, avoiding illegal activity and meeting parenting responsibilities. The program also provides supports to help women obtain employment and transition into safe and stable housing.

Children 13 or younger can stay with their mothers while they are in the residential treatment program, and therapeutic child care is available. Services are provided at no cost to participants.

Available Positions

RESIDENTIAL CARE TECHNICIAN
Highschool Diploma or GED Required

Perform direct care services to promote and encourage efficient operations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of program participants. Technicians carry out daily tasks including assisting with daily living activities, monitoring of program participants’ progress, and facilitation of life skills groups.

Multiple Shifts Available and Includes Every Other Weekend
Day Shift:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM OR 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 11:30 PM OR 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Third Shift: 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM

THERAPEUTIC CHILDCARE WORKER
Highschool Diploma or GED Required

Provide therapeutic supervision of infants, toddlers, and children with emotional and/or behavioral challenges, residing in a 24/7 residential gender-specific, trauma-responsive substance abuse treatment facility with their parents.

CERTIFIED PEER SPECIALIST
High School Diploma or GED + Eligibility to be certified as – CPS, CPS-AD, CARES, WHAM

Model recovery by using lived experience as a tool for service intervention. Provide program participants with peer support services in individual and group settings, serves as liaison between program and referred individuals to ensure appropriate access to services, and promote a culture of recovery.

WELLNESS COACH
Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health field + job related license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, MFT, LMSW, LAPC, MAC, CACII, CADC, CAC)

Works with interdisciplinary team to review cases and develop individual plans that encourage wellness component of each person’s recovery plan. Provides individual & group therapy specifically tailored to explore areas of whole health and wellness.

REGISTERED NURSE
Licensed as an RN in Georgia

Responsible for the delivery of quality individual care through the nursing process of screenings, administering medication, admissions, discharges, groups, unit management, risk assessments and crisis management to individuals participating in the women’s residential program.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH THERAPIST
Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health field + job related license, (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

Responsible for completion of behavioral health assessments for both mental health and substance use, treatment plans, and provision of individual, group and/or family therapy based on clinician training and agency needs.
