Ascend offers comprehensive benefits for full-time employees including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long & Short-Term Disability. You are eligible to enroll in any of the benefit plans individually, or in combination to customize what’s right for you or your family.
Watch your email for The Employee Benefit Guide and important information about deadlines and enrollment details. You will have 14 days from your date of hire to make benefit selections, and any coverage selected becomes effective on your 61st day of employment.
- Benefit deductions start on the first check date that benefits are active
- Benefit deductions run through the last check date
- Medical, Dental, and Vision are pre-tax deductions; while Life, STD, LTD are post-tax deductions
- Deductions are taken twice per month
- If benefits deductions are not taken out of the check due to lack of hours, leave, payroll error, etc. they will be taken out of the next available check or billed.
Ascend also provides a feature-rich Employee Assistant Program at no cost to you, and the EAP is available to all employees regardless of enrollment in other benefits.
